Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

Life insurance

How much life insurance do I need?

It depends on the income, debts, future goals, and responsibilities you want the policy to address. A needs-based conversation is more useful than a single multiplier.

Does life insurance always require an exam?

No. Some policies use simplified or accelerated underwriting, while others may require health information or an exam. Availability and pricing depend on the carrier and applicant.

Can I review coverage I already own?

Yes. We can help you understand what your current policy does before discussing whether any change is appropriate. Never cancel existing coverage until new coverage is approved and in force.

Health coverage

Is a fixed-indemnity plan the same as major medical insurance?

No. Fixed-indemnity and hospital-expense plans pay set dollar amounts for covered events. They are limited-benefit plans, not major medical or ACA insurance. We'll walk through exactly what a plan covers and excludes before you enroll.

Can I enroll any time of year?

Generally yes — these plans aren't tied to the ACA open-enrollment window. Eligibility and availability still vary by carrier and state.

What should I compare besides the premium?

The fixed benefit amounts, covered events, waiting periods, exclusions, and how the plan fits with any other coverage you have.

Does it cost me anything to get a quote?

No. Quotes are free and there's no obligation. Quotes are estimates only; final coverage and premiums depend on underwriting and carrier approval.

Are you tied to one insurance company?

No. SimpleSure Insurance is an independent agency — we compare options across 15+ A+ rated carriers to find the fit, instead of selling one company's product.
